• Ahmad and Nafisa Waqf Initiative

The Ahmad and Nafisa Waqf Initiative was formally established on 26 September 2019 by Engr. Mansur Ahmed as an act of 'sadaqatul jariyah' (ongoing charity) in honor of his parents, the late Qadi Ahmad Zubair and the late Hajiya Nafisa Gidado. The Initiative was founded to support causes that contribute to the upliftment of the Muslim community, with a particular focus on education, health, da’awa (Islamic propagation), and other community welfare activities. The Waqf operates under the principles of Shariah (Islamic law) and complies with the applicable legal frameworks of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Its assets and income are dedicated exclusively to charitable purposes, as prescribed by the Founder and administered by the Board of Trustees.

These efforts are focused on reducing educational inequality and creating a pathway to brighter futures for underserved communities

    Healthcare Access

The Waqf strengthens community development by funding the Annual Muharram Lecture Series, an initiative that brings together scholars, youth, and members of the Muslim community. Through this platform, the Waqf promotes spiritual growth, religious education, and a sense of unity, with a focus on reviving Islamic traditions and encouraging collective learning.

    Sustainability

The Waqf supports the long-term sustainability of faith-based institutions by providing ongoing assistance to Tahfiz Islamiyah School in Galadanci, where Qur’an memorisation and Islamic studies are taught.
